SUMMARY
The Director of Social Content is responsible for leading the planning and execution of social content strategy across Pacers Sports & Entertainment (PS&E) properties, including the Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever, and Noblesville Boom. This role requires strong basketball knowledge and a deep understanding of how content performs across social platforms to drive fan engagement and growth.
This role calls for a highly creative and strategic thinker with a strong grasp of brand voice, platform trends, and audience behavior. The ideal candidate is passionate about social storytelling and knows how to create content that resonates with fans across both sports and entertainment. Strong organizational skills, collaboration, and clear communication are essential to success.
Because this role works across multiple properties, an understanding of both basketball and the broader entertainment landscape is critical. The Director should be well-versed in developing content across formats, platforms, and cadences, and will be supported by a creative team of digital video producers, social media managers, graphic designers, and digital marketers.
This role will travel as needed to support social coverage, including select Pacers and Fever games, NBA/WNBA events, and key organizational initiatives. The role partners closely with Brand Marketing, Game Operations, Corporate Partnerships, Basketball Operations, Community Engagement, and Ticketing to bring integrated content strategies to life.
