Pacers Sports & Entertainment (PS&E) is seeking a motivated and curious IT Intern to join our Information Technology department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of IT disciplines in a dynamic, fast-paced sports and entertainment environment.
As an IT Intern, you’ll assist in daily operations and contribute to projects that support the technological backbone of PS&E. This position is ideal for students who are eager to explore multiple areas within IT—including help desk support, hardware and software deployment, project coordination, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies such as AI.
Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and account-related issues.
Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
Participate in IT project management activities including documentation, task tracking, and coordination between departments.
Support cybersecurity initiatives including awareness efforts and compliance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets and support activities.
Contribute to process improvement efforts, automation, and technology implementation across PS&E departments.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Enrolled in college or university as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Strong interest in multiple IT disciplines, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Prior experience in technical support or a related role is a plus but not required.
Exposure to real-world IT operations within a professional sports and entertainment organization.
Experience working alongside IT professionals in support, infrastructure, and emerging technology roles.
Development of technical, organizational, and professional skills applicable across the IT field.
