Head Athletic Trainer - Boom

The Noblesville Boom Head Athletic Trainer is a member of the sports medicine services team and is responsible for providing professional athletic training care for the injuries and illnesses of the Noblesville Boom (and at times, the Indiana Pacers) players. The primary responsibilities include the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and monitoring of all injuries.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret instructions and reports. This position should be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from players, coaches, and front office staff.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word and general data entry. Ability to learn new systems and adapt to new technology.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Knowledge to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as making change, analyzing costs, figuring statistics, and making area and liquid measurements.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret directions and technical diagrams. Ability to interpret directions.

PROBLEM SOLVING REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to make independent decisions by exercising discretion and independent judgment.
