Our management team has a combined 30+ years of sports sales and management experience, and they will be working with you every step of the way to ensure you become a champion.
THE GAME PLAN
As a Corporate Ticket Sales Manager, you will be making cold calls, meeting with C-level executives, networking with other professionals, and attending events with qualified Pacers prospects to drive ticket revenue from local businesses. You will work various community and in-arena events, along with all Pacers home games.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sell season ticket packages, nightly premium rentals, and group outings to businesses.
Set appointments with businesses through cold outreach, networking, canvassing, and referrals.
Conduct B2B sales presentations to C-level executives.
Research, identify, and add new decision makers to your list of potential clients.
Generate new revenue from corporate prospects and incremental revenue from current clients.
Network with business professionals to grow an extensive referral source base.
Provide exemplary customer service with clients.
Complete daily data entry and reporting for sales tracking.
Participate in all ticket sales related events.
Host prospects at home games.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, candidates must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. The candidate must have a strong work ethic and a burning desire to build a career in professional sports.
Minimum 1-3 years of Business to Business or Ticket Sales experience.
Proven record of achieving sales goals and going above and beyond the call of duty.
Proficient in basic software programs.
Creative and enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills.
Available to work Indiana Pacers & Fever home games and special events.
Possess a willingness to work long hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, and direct selling/ticket sales experience is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to communicate effectively (oral & written) with all types of clients, co-workers, and the general public. Ability to communicate effectively under pressure and when working under a deadline.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Knowledge to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as analyzing costs, and figuring statistics.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret directions and technical diagrams.
PROBLEM SOLVING REQUIREMENTS:
When dealing with prospects and clients, employee must show discretion when making recommendations regarding packages and event details for any Pacers game, event or meeting space.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel outside of the Indianapolis community.
Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Work Environment: This position primarily works in an office environment or in their respective sales territory but is also expected to attend Pacers games and special events as assigned.
